MRA developed a brand extension concept and business strategy for a dining, retail, and entertainment venue designed to showcase the brands of TIME Magazine and CNN. Built upon the broad appeal and ever-changing nature of news and events, the concept was based on using multiple feeds and interactive media to create a new form of gathering place based on social media. Pulsed by the “marquee” events unfolding across the week, season and year; and deploying historic news archives to celebrate special moments, the TIME-CNN Events Café was designed for Roll-Out into U.S. and International Cities as a new form of “Third Place”.
